Yes Group Norwich – Thursday 24th November 2011

Register to attend this event now.

On 24th November, we welcome Ruth Durbin and Shamash Aldina

Ruth Durbin has a wealth of experience in supporting others to conquer self-doubt and learn effective ways to regain control over their lives.  She is a coach and trainer and has also enjoyed a successful career in education.  As Headteacher of a large inner-city primary school, Ruth developed children, parents and staff within a highly-challenging and diverse environment.

However, in spite of achieving a high-level of success in her education career, Ruth found herself lured into the bewildering and damaging world of an emotionally-abusive relationship.  She is passionate about supporting others who are the victims of bullying behaviour.  The strategies and techniques she used to repair and rebuild her own life form the basis of her coaching systems.

Ruth’s work on Self-Empowerment is of value to anyone who feels held back by doubt and uncertainty.  It will help you take your personal development to a higher level.

You have to lead your life or someone else will lead it for you.

Happiness is knowing how to value yourself and lead your life on your own terms.  So many lives are blighted and unfulfilled because of a lack of self-worth.  Often this has been the result of enduring bullying and emotionally-abusive relationships.

You will learn:

  • Why Fear is a tricky customer and how to ignore him
  • How to control your ‘Mind Babble’
  • Where to find your true self

As a speaker, Ruth has been described as ‘captivating’ and ‘an example to follow.’

She is a member of Andy Harrington’s Professional Speakers’ Academy.
