The Power Of Storytelling
In this presentation, we will look at the phenomenal power that storytelling has to inspire, uplift, move, motivate, educate and entertain – not only within presentations, but also in everyday business and life.
We will see how storytelling is part of our DNA, how and why stories work, when and where they can be used, the different types of stories we can tell, and how the very best leaders use storytelling and storytelling techniques to inspire their people and those around them.
We will then look at a few top yet simple tips on how we can make our own stories even more powerful and come even more alive, particularly if we are using them within presentations. This will be by looking at the four main areas of storytelling – Action (narrative), Characters, Eloquence (language) and Delivery.
This will be a fun and vibrant session and will benefit anyone who wants to use theirs and others’ stories to help make the world a better place, break down barriers and increase our understanding of each other.
